DataFix B.V. was formerly known as Knitco.

At DataFix we have been working with n8n for over 4 years and have been an Expert partner for almost as long.

During this time one of our founders has received multiple awards for his involvement in the community.

Mentoring

In our opinion it is (almost) always best for a company do develop their own automations. Because of course you know your business best. There is always exceptions or specific ways things should be done, which we as outsiders cannot know. A tool like n8n allows you to develop your own automations and with a bit of help from us we can make sure this is done correctly and efficiently.

We have multiple clients who are completely selfsufficient and we only get called in for support when needed.

Development

Sometimes a company/team doesn't have the time or simply wants it done by an expert, we will then do all development. We work on one time projects but also on retainer to keep working on a client's needs for automations.

We always make sure to stay in direct contact with the clients about their automations and explain what they do so they do not become a blackbox.

Node Development

We have developed over 30 nodes and develop nodes for clients who need it. This is often the case where teams want to use n8n themselves but are less familiar with API's. A node will allow them to use n8n without having to figure out how an API works. Nodes can also be helpful if you just use an API a lot, this does cost some upfront time to develop the node but does save time later when developing workflows. Even if you are completly comfortable with API's a node still can save time setting up a workflow.

The most powerful nodes are the Logic nodes, they do not talk to an API but allow you do do certain actions in n8n faster and more efficiently. For example renaming fields by using a simple template.

Server Management

As an addon service we can also take control over the n8n server management. We will make sure the n8n server is setup correctly and runs properly.

What we don't do

We do not embed n8n for clients. We can of course assist a developer with our knowledge of n8n, but will not be touching any codebase to embed n8n.

AI is not our focus. We can provide AI services with the use of our partners but are not looking for clients who focus on using n8n for AI.
